and no, it is not my brain. It is instead my gallbladder. I really haven't missed it much. Except of course when I move. I have just been sore and the usual after a surgery. But things have gone surprisingly well. DaddyLittle has been an absolute jewel! Now I know why I love that man!!!!!
Anyway, I was catching up on my favorite blogs today since I did not make the trip to church with the rest of the fam, and I came across this...green hair post. Let me begin by saying that I am pretty sure that Stacy is my soul sister. I have not even met the woman, but just from reading her blog I can tell that we have a LOT in common. So when I read the green hair title I just had to laugh. However, as you will read Stacy's green hair has been limited to picture printing issues. Mine, however, was a real-life incident. As it was actually due to my own hands, well almost, actually it was at the hands of one of my dear church mentors, but that really doesn't count. All I can say is it was in the middle of church camp, I was suffering from lack of sleep, and I wanted to amuse the children. Let's just say.....it worked. Here is the evidence to prove it.
A dear, sweet friend at camp had to let me know that the green hair made me look pale. Okay, well first off, I AM PALE (thank you very much) and furthermore, with green hair on a parent's night do you really think anyone was looking at my complexion?????? I think not. My only alibi is that we were doing it under a shade tree and it didn't look THAT bright until we moved out in the sunlight. But, hey, it was all for fun and I had a great time with the kids telling them it must be from the pool, etc. Now that I have sent out a most humiliating picture to blog ville I believe I will retreat to bed.
Oh my goodness I can't believe how much it looks like my picture (lol). Of course I didn't intend for Stacy J to have green hair. How cool that you did it on purpose! I hope you did a page about it.
